Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Our 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech will start from your accommodation or at the airport. We will pick you up and drive along the Middle Atlas Mountains, visiting main sites. Firstly, you will enjoy the landscapes of the Atlas Mountains on your way to Ifrane town. The town called the Switzerland of Morocco because of the architectural building style of the Alpine region of Switzerland. After visiting Ifrane, you will also visit Cedar Forest. The barbarian apes in this forest are enjoyable and funny. Therefore, you will enjoy your time with them and have wonderful pictures.
Secondly, we will drive through green land to Midelt, viewing nomads with their herds. In Midelt, we will have a lunch break and enjoy its climate and mountain views. Moreover, the long road through the mountains with its panoramic view is something that will attract your attention. Once we are in Ziz Valley, the landscapes are different from the previous ones. This region offers palm tree groves and traditional adobe houses as well. You will also have a chance to explore this valley with its palm tree oasis.
Finally, we will continue our trip to the Merzouga desert. In the desert, you will be welcomed with mint tea. And then you will start a camel trekking trip. Crossing the dunes and watching the wonderful sunset view will be one of the best experiences. Besides, you will experience and boarding and local life. After dinner, locals will entertain you with drum music around the fire, and then you will enjoy your night under the starry sky.
Day 2: Exploring-Merzouga-desert areas
The second day of the 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech will be a special day trip in the Merzouga desert.
The staff will make sure to wake up to watch the spectacular sunrise over the desert. After your breakfast at the camp, we will pick you up to start your desert day trip. Khamlia village will be our first destination. It is a village that is inhabited by black skin people originally from Mali.
They offer their traditional Gnaoua music that you will enjoy and know about their story. Further, we will drive off-road to the mines of MIfiss. The site is a daily adventure work of Berbers that is about 30m deeper.
Our second destination will be nomads. It will be a great chance to explore their life and experience by having tea in a hand-made tent. You will also experience a panoramic view of the whole desert. Later, we will drive to the Berber village for having Berber pizza for lunch in a traditional restaurant.
Finally, we will drive to the hotel and have free time to walk around by ourselves, and then spend a night there.
Day 3: Merzouga-Daraa Valley-Ouarzazate
4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech will resume after your breakfast at the hotel. You will expert and experience different things in this region. Rissani city is an old city that is famous for its old market and traditional life. You will walk around this local market and discover traditional items and how the market is arranged traditionally. Besides, you will see how people have been dressing in traditional clothes since the old time.
Later, we will drive along the way to Draa Valley. Berber villages and palm tree groves are the main things you can view on our way. You will also have time to stop at the Berber village of Nkob, and then experience the landscapes of Draa’s river as the longest river in Morocco. Yet, the gorgeous views of the mountains are long the Anti-Atlas Mountains. You will have a chance to stop at some panoramic views of the mountains.
After enjoying the driving through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, we will head to Ouarzazate city. It is also known as the Hollywood of Africa where many movies are filmed, including Game of Throne, Gladiator… You will have a night in a local Riad/hotel
Day 4: Ouarzazate-Ait Bend Haddou-Marrakech
Discovering the cinema studio of Ouarzazatzwill be after your breakfast at your accommodation. You will explore this studio where the mentioned films took place. And later, we move to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is the largest Kasbah in Morocco that has been listed among the UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. It is taken as the best example of architectural mud-brick houses in Morocco.
Once you admire and explore this Kasbah, will drive along the High Atlas Mountains. You will experience driving through the Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass. You will also have a chance to stop for some panoramic views and visit the oil cooperative of Argan. It is a great chance to know how the process of using it to make cosmetics is done.
Finally, we will head to Marrakech and drop you off at your accommodation. And then where our 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech end, wishing you save to travel.
