Day1: Casablanca to Chefchaouen
We will begin your Morocco 6 days tour from Casablanca toward Chefchaouen from the airport or your accommodation in Casablanca by the morning. We will begin by seeing the large mosque of Hassan II, one of the city’s most prominent structures. The next stop on our Morocco trip will be the blue city of Chefchaouen. We’ll get there by driving through beautiful scenery and the Rif Mountains. As you arrive at your accommodation in Chefchaouen, you will have time to explore this wonderful, tiny town. Day 2: From Chefchaouen to Fes
Chefchaouen provides a modest morning trek to the historic Spanish mosque on the hill if you are a morning person. Following breakfast at your hotel, you will have the opportunity to explore more of the town. Our 6 days tour from Casablanca will continue through the Rif mountains to the famed archeological site of Volubilis. We will stop for an hour at the site, and with a local guide, you will wander to explore this unique Roman ruin that is steeped in Berber and Roman history.
From Volubilis, we will travel for half an hour to Meknes, one of Morocco’s royal capitals. Before driving to our hotel in Fes, we will take you to explore the city’s prominent landmarks, like Bab Mansour Gate, Moulay Ismail Museum, Gara People, and the famed Sahrij Swani water reservoir. Day 3: Guided visit of Fes Medina
By the morning, you will be shocked at how wonderful the Medina of Fes is. Recognized as Morocco’s largest and oldest Medina, it is famed for its remarkable architecture in riads, palaces, museums, and medersas, as well as its lively souks and crafts districts. You will be taken on a full-day tour of its highlights by your driver and local guide.
The guided tour of Fes Medina will begin at your riad, where your driver and guide will pick you up. The day trip will begin with seeing the King’s Palace Gate, the Jewish Mallah carter, and the largest mosaic factory in Fez.
The next part of your Fes trip will be a walking tour with your guide to experience the beauty of the Medina, with its colorful streets, as well as other historical places such as the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the Bab Boujloud Gate, the mid-14th century Bou Inania Medersa, and the Tanneries.
After our wonderful Fes guided excursions, your driver will return you to your hotel or riad.
Day 4: Fes to Merzouga
We will take you up from your riad or hotel and transport you south via the Middle Atlas Highlands to Ifrane and Azrou. We’ll stop in the cedar trees along the trip to witness the Barbary Apes in their natural environment. Afterwards, we continue to Midelt over the Tizi n’Talghamt pass and the spectacular Ziz Gorges created by volcanic rock. As you approach Errachidia, you’ll witness vistas of the Middle Atlas plateau and the environment altering to offer clues about the desert.
Following lunch, we will continue our day’s journey from Fes to Erfoud, Rissani, and the Merzouga desert through the Ziz Valley. We start the camel journey to your luxury tent in the center of the Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes before dusk, after a glass of mint tea, where you will spend the night beneath the starry sky of the Sahara. Day 5: Merzouga – Todgha Gorges- Ouarzazate
The Sahara desert has a spectacular dawn if you get up early enough. Following breakfast in your tent, you’ll quietly ride the camels back to your accommodation on the dunes’ edge to experience the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes with dawn lights.
We will go towards the Todgha gorges, a popular area for rock climbers. the tallest and narrowest west gorges in Morocco, where we may stroll before continuing on to Ouarzazate, passing through the Dades Valley and other small communities along the route. Evening in Ouarzazate
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
We start our last day of travel from Casablanca by seeing some of Ouarzazate’s best sights. A city famous for its Kasbah and cinema productions. We’ll stop at the Cinema Studios, where you’ll be able to see some of the stages, sets, and workshops used in worldwide films.
After that, we will go to one of the most magnificent UNESCO sites, Ait Ben Haddou, where we will wander around its typical Berber architecture. Later, we’ll keep going to the red city of Marrakech, which is on the other side of the High Atlas Mountains.
