Day 1: Casablanca Airport Hotel in Casablanca:
At the Mohamed V International Airport in Casablanca, your driver/guide will meet you and take you to your hotel. Stay at a hotel for the night. If you landed in Casablanca a few days ago, we will meet you at your hotel and begin the journey.
Day 2: Casablanca Rabat Chefchaouen:
You will begin your trip to the Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca’s biggest mosque, in the morning. You will then go to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. We’ll begin with the Bab Challah, Mohammed V’s Mausoleum, and one of the royal palace’s main entrances, and then go on to the Oudaya Kasbah. Lunch at a local establishment Then we go straight to Chefchaouen, the blue city. Of course, you’ll pass through several little towns and make stops along the way. Arriving at Chefchaouen a bit early will give you time to stroll around the medina’s blue alleyways, snap photographs, and enjoy the local food. Stay at a hotel for the night.
Day 3: Chefchaouen Fez:
Today in Chefchaouen You’ll have the whole morning to discover the blue city. It is located in the northern Rif Mountains of Morocco. It is well-known for the magnificent blue-colored structures in its ancient town. Leather and weaving businesses fill its steep, cobblestone alleyways. The casbah is located in Outa el Hammam’s shaded center area. It has red walls from the 14th century, a castle, and a keep, as well as art and anthropology exhibits. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises not far from there, and the drive to Fez continues after lunch.
Day 4: Fez:
After breakfast at your riad, you will begin your tour of Morocco’s oldest city, winding through its narrow alleys and alleyways. Our journey begins with a visit to the entrance to the Royal Palace, the Jewish district, and the 14th-century Mellah, Morocco’s first. We will ensure that you see all cultural and historical sites, including the world’s oldest, Al Qaraouine University, the tanneries, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. During lunch, you will be taken on a tour of the tile cooperative before enjoying a stunning panoramic view of Fes’ Medina. We stayed at the same riad that night.
Day 5: Fez, Ifran, Midlet, and the Sahara Desert of Merzouga
The next morning, you will travel from Fes to Merzouga through Midelt and the Ziz Valley. You’ll go to Ifrane today, a lovely Alpine village renowned as Morocco’s Switzerland. You’ll also go to the center of the Atlas Mountains’ cedar woodland. On your trip, you will see the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. You will also stop at Azrou, a Berber village in Morocco’s famous cedar forest, the largest in the country, where you can meet the Barbary apes.
After that, your journey to Midelt continues over the spectacular Atlas highlands and mountains. Following lunch in Midelt, you’ll continue across the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the stunning Ziz Gorge. You’ll be able to view the High Atlas plateau and how the terrain changes as you move closer to the southeastern city of Errachidia. Following that, you’ll travel through the lovely Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. As you arrive in the afternoon Merzouga, you will be met with a cup of mint tea. Afterward, ride a camel over the dunes of the Merzouga Sahara Desert to your tent for the night.
Day 6: Merzouga Todra Gorges Dades Valley:
Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to see what may be the most beautiful sunrise of your life. You’ll return to Merzouga on a camel ride. You can’t help but notice the gorgeous Erg Chebbi dune fields along the road, which shift with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast and a refreshing roadside shower, you’ll set off for Morocco’s highest and narrowest gorges, the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todgha. After lunch in the middle of the canyon, we’ll proceed into the Dades Valley, where you’ll visit the beautiful sand castles and the extraordinary rock formations known as “monkey toes.” Overnight accommodations will be in a beautiful guest home overlooking the Dades Valley and will include supper and breakfast.
Day 7: Dades Ouarzazate Ait Ben Hadou Marrakech
After breakfast at your accommodation, you will travel to Ouarzazate and then to Marrakech through the Dades Valley. The Way of a Thousand Kasbahs’ path through Dades Valley gives multiple opportunities to shoot some of your best images of the trip. You will make a stop at Kalaat M’Gouna, the center of Rose Valley, where you may visit the rose cooperative and purchase rosewater, which will make your linen smell lovely long after your holiday is over.
Proceed to Marrakech through the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains of the nineteenth century, constructed the Kasbah, which is now home to many Glaoui people. Before arriving in Marrakech for the night, your journey will take you via the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) in the High Atlas Mountains. Berber women from their cooperative will teach you how to create Argan oil, which can only be obtained in Morocco.
Day 8: Marrakech Sightseeing:
After breakfast at the riad, you may start seeing Marrakech, “the red city of Morocco.” We’ll make sure you see the most important historical and cultural sites, like the Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs, and the Majorelle Gardens. After lunch at a café near the square, you will visit the souks, where you will view hundreds of handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to explore the remainder of the city on your own.
Day 9:TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
If you have a flight that day, transportation to the airport or drop-off at your Casablanca hotel is provided.
