Travelling from Tangier
From Tangier the natural route heads south through the Rif Mountains, with a stop in Chefchaouen, and on to Fes or Meknes before turning towards the desert.
The Sahara section follows the Middle Atlas, the Ziz Valley and Merzouga, with a night in a desert camp. You can return north or finish in Marrakech.
