Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
We will pick you up in Tangier’s port on the first day of our 4 days 3 nights desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech. Tangier is one of the largest and most attractive cities in Morocco’s northern area, with panoramic views of the Rif Mountains. We’ll stop to admire the beauty of Tetouan and Chefchaouen, the latter renowned as the “blue gem” for its beautiful blue streets and residences. Once we arrive in Chefchaouen and sightsee for a bit, we will have lunch before continuing on to Fez, where we will relax and spend the first night of our vacation.
Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
We will begin our 4 days 3 nights desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech later, leaving the hotel and driving to Ifran, Africa’s tiny Switzerland and the most picturesque city in Morocco. Throughout the winter, its beautiful sights draw tourists. Afterwards we’ll continue driving to Cedar Forest. A magnificent forest with tall trees and gorgeous monkeys (Barbary Apes) hopping from branch to branch while waiting for people to feed them. Following that, we’ll travel down to Midelt and Tizi n Talghamt, which have spectacular views of the rugged central Atlas Mountains.
We would happily stop wherever if you wish to snap photos and enjoy the beauty of nature. We’ll go via Ziz Valley, Errachidia, and Erfoud, which are noted for their fossils and Desert weather. After that, we will travel to the spectacular Sahara Desert, notably Erg Chebbi with its towering sand dunes.
When we arrive, we will ride camels to a tent in the middle of the desert, where we will spend the night. The camel walk normally takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes, but before we travel to the camp, we’ll wait for the sun to set on the sand dunes and admire the beauty of the sun and golden sand. The camp where we will spend the night is well-equipped with everything you will need. After a traditional supper, we’ll gather around the campfire to either listen to Berber music or gaze at the stars overhead.
Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
On the second day of our 4 days 3 nights desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we’ll make sure you wake up early to witness the sun rise over the sand dunes and experience the early morning Saharan wind riding camels. We’ll return to the camp after viewing the dawn to have breakfast and prepare for our next journey to Boumalne dades. On the route, we’ll travel by several small towns like Eljorf, Mellab, and Tinjdad before continuing on to Tinghir, where we’ll stop to view some beautiful palm trees and the famed Toudgha canyon, as well as the water that emerges from the rocky rocks. We’ll be in our lovely hotel in Boumalne Dades before dusk, ready to unwind.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas mountain – Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel via Dades valley and continue on the route that leads to popular Kelaat M’gouna, which is well-known for its roses festival, which is held every year and draws many tourists from all over the globe.
After that, we will travel to Ouarzazate, which has been dubbed “Hollywood of Africa” due to the presence of a film industry; also, Ouarzazate is recognized globally for its Kasbahs, particularly Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which is a popular tourist attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also where we will have lunch and visit its wonderful and historic residences, which are as mesmerizing as an oil painting. Following lunch, we’ll continue traveling to our last destination, Marrakesh.
We’ll stop along the trip to see several Berber settlements and take in the magnificent vistas of the High Atlas Mountains.
